The Operations Assistant is a part-time position providing support for the Executive Director of ACTS.
The Operations Assistant must have a thorough knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), familiarity with the internet, and some experience with social media. She/he must have strong written and oral communication skills and should always demonstrate professionalism in interactions with the ACTS board, other staff members and the public. The Operations Assistant should have strong interpersonal skills, and an understanding of discretion and confidentiality. Must be able to lift 20 lbs. The Operations Assistant position is 6-8 hours per week for 37 weeks (2 weeks before the start of tutoring in September and 2 weeks after the close of tutoring the week before Memorial Day).
Some work-at-home hours are possible, and some hours each week can be flexible.
